This 4 x 5" song book is copyrighted in 1917 by John H. Eggers, New York and published by the National Committee on Patriotic Literature. It features a beautiful color picture of a young woman holding a flag on the cover, signed George Wharton Edwards. There are words and music for a total of seven patriotic songs, and a brief history of each is given inside the front and back covers. This pamphlet is distributed, according to the back cover, by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. |

AD-0003 French's Mustard Recipe Folder
An early recipe folder (No. 15-7) entitled 'Made Dishes SALADS AND SAVORIES With FRENCH'S Cream Salad MUSTARD', this tiny tri-fold pamphlet measures just 2¾ x 4" folded. In it are recipes for Baked Beans - French Style (of course!), Corned Beef Sandwich Filling, Asparagus Salad and seven other recipes. It also contains a full-color advertisement for the larger 32 page book of the same name, which could be obtained by sending "4¢ in stamps, to cover cost of mailing and postage." |
